An Evening in Venice at The National Arts Club
to Be Webcast Live to 2.5 Million Netizens

Tune in at 7:00 PM (EST) on October 19th when ONLINE TV brings you a reserved front row seat at an exciting, unique, celebrity-studded AN EVENING IN VENICE live from New York, NY.

You'll see the NYC debut of an 18th century comedy by Carlo Gozzi, who wrote "Turandot" and "King Stag." Written in Venice in 1762, and presented by Pontine Movement Theatre in colorful masks and with giant puppets, "The Serpent Woman" is rarely performed.

This comedy will be followed by up-close interviews with celebrity maskmakers such as Julie Taymor, Thierry Mugler, Christina Perrin, Oleg Cassini, Louis DiCarlo, Nicole Miller, Margo Manhattan, and beautiful Anna Malova, a former Miss Russia (1998), along with a roving report from the first row as Sotheby's auctions off choice Venetian-theme prizes and unique masks and collectibles. Many maskmakers are coming to The Big Apple for the first time for the October 19th Benefit from Arizona, Viet Nam, Holland, and Venice, Italy to cheer on the bidding for their donated pieces of wearable art and you'll meet each one and see extraordinary creations such as the Mask Hat from Zuss.com, two Dutch sisters who create handmade apparel exclusively from used bicycle tires.

Online viewers will get a chance to bid too!

MARK PINES will be netcasting AN EVENING IN VENICE live on the NIGHTCAP CARNIVAL Channel of ONLINE TV. Pines will cover both the afternoon Press Conference and the evening Gala.

In order to access the live netcast, go to the ONLINE TV website at www.onlinetv.com and click on the NIGHTCAP CARNIVAL banners. A live link will also be available on the NONSTOPNY website.

NIGHTCAP CARNIVAL is NYC's first roving Webcast. MARK PINES and RICK SIEGEL, working in tandem, managed to screw a newscam onto a laptop with an encoder and get it to broadcast remotely. Now MARK's destiny is to roam The Big Apple, netcasting the most brilliant unusual entertainment to be found. Music, Arts, Fashion, Food & News: all at their freshest and all from different locations every show. The NIGHTCAP CARNIVAL covers New York in particular and the globe in general. In the past NIGHTCAP CARNIVAL has done remote netcasts from Barcelona, Spain and Antwerp, Belgium and linked them to simultaneous netcasts by ONLINE TV in New York.

The NIGHTCAP CARNIVAL netcast of AN EVENING IN VENICE will also be in cooperation with TELEMUNDO TV, who will cover Hispanic angles of the Gala with a remote crew.

MARK PINES is a Multi-Media Specialist with the diverse background to provide the experience necessary for the job. As a professional musician, he played guitar with superstars including RAY MANZAREK (of THE DOORS), JOE WALSH (of THE EAGLES) and PATTI SMITH. His band performed on the bill with THE CREAM, JONI MITCHELL, GRATEFUL DEAD and ALICE COOPER.

Making a transition into the music business, Pines became the Music Critic at VARIETY MAGAZINE in 1969, covering the original WOODSTOCK MUSIC FESTIVAL and the Fillmore East concerts. He also wrote for CASHBOX MAGAZINE and ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE. From there he was appointed as A&R Coordinator for ATLANTIC RECORDS, where he worked under MARK MEYERSON, JERRY WEXLER and AHMET ERTEGUN.

Making a transition from Music to Film, in 1976 Pines became a Production Manager for DRONGE & DRONGE, where he supervised major TV Ad Campaigns for Ad Agencies including Y&R, BBD&O and Ogilvey & Mather. Bringing his film expertise back into the Music Industry, in 1976 Pines produced his first Music Video for United Artists. Shortly thereafter, he formed his own company and has produced and directed Music Videos for THE ROLLING STONES, HALL & OATES, JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO, JACKSON BROWNE and JEFFERSON STARSHIP. He served as Technical Director for the Warner Brother Feature Film, NO NUKES, featuring BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and BONNIE RAITT. It was only natural for Pines to come onboard with ONLINE TV in 1998 to develop his own unique portrayal of the rapidly growing Internet Music Scene.

ONLINE TV was founded (1996) by RICK SIEGEL and is one of the pioneers of live Internet video streaming. Dedicated to delivering the cutting edge of today's live music scene, ONLINE TV has dedicated servers in New York and London and sends out live shows 365 days of the year to an Internet audience of 2.5 million users worldwide.

New York City Journal @ ZUSS.COM

At this moment we are very busy to prepare ourselves for New York City. Picking the art pieces we wish to show, make checklists, arrange the things @ home so everything will be fine over here as well.
On the other end of the ocean, two women make it all happen for us, Zuss. Thanks to writer Linda Ann Loschiavo, organizer of 'An Evening in Venice', 19 October, we have so much to look forward to!
First of all to meet this wonderful women in person, whom we met in cyberspace. LindaAnn makes a lot of things happen for Zuss; she offers us a chance of a lifetime: 'An Evening in Venice' with the Mask Auction, press conferences, the hottest contacts, a photoshoot in New York City, Halloween; Zuss will be busy!
The news, that the only two women we know in New York, have met each other shows the magical powers of this adventure of a lifetime!
Karen Auerbach, jewelry designer, is the second woman we will meet: 'MAYHEM here we come'! This talented and lovely lady invited Zuss to The New Jersey Art Tour and volunteered with her friends to model for Zuss.

In order to keep all our visitors informed; we plan to make a New York City Journal @ Zuss.com. We will send our stories home to our Magic Cookie and he will build in the adventures in our What's New page. So watch out for Zuss News, from October 16 until the 1st of November.
