Every piece we make is a unique and original artwork.
Jewelry artist Kar5 from New York made our new metal Zuss Fashion Design tag so you can see it is a real Zuss.
Everything we make is hand-crafted: every hole, every lace, every knot is hand-made. There are no machines involved, just our hands, scissors, a hole punch and our imagination.
The materials used are bicycle and moped innertubes, sometimes decorated with beads and stuff. We really enjoy working with this material and we find it a challenge to work with the restricted forms and shapes of the used tubes and gravity. It feels more like sculpturing than sewing.

To wear a Zuss Fashion Design is not a trifle; you will be very concious of it, especially if wearing skin-tight. This sturdy and pigheaded material feels cool when it hits your flesh, but heated by your bodyheat it becomes soft and gives you the Zuss Fashion Design sensation.

Luxury items

Although our designs are tough, think of Zuss Fashion Designs as luxury items. Rubber is a natural product, and will provide years of sensuous pleasure for you and all those you come in contact with, provided you care for it correctly. The following recommendations will help ensure a long life for your valuable Zuss Fashion Designs.

Precautions

Avoid or at least be careful of sharp objects like jewelry and long nails, cigarettes in clubs, and those that come up to you and stretch the rubber just to hear it snap. Copper will stain rubber and once it does it will not go away.
If you choose to wear Zuss Designs with other clothes; be careful! The rubber can give stains, sometimes on your skin too, but most of the time you can simply wash it of. Never use oils and rubber together because the latex will gradually disintegrate. So if you plan on something slippery, make sure it is water based. Do not store rubber near sunlight or it will chalk or turn white. Try silicone to hide the white if this happens.

Cleaning

Once you've sweat or done who knows what in your Zuss Fashion Design, it is going to need cleaning. What we do is fill either the sink or bath with 3 or 4 inches of lukewarm water (no soap or a special rubber detergent), turn the garment inside out and swish it around. Then we lay it down on a towel, right side out until dry on the outside, then turn it inside out until dry on the inside.

Shine

Because of the nature of Zuss Fashion Designs and how they are connected, latex lubes or shining sprays will also lube the knots and make them fall apart, so we choose NOT to use it. When you use a good rubber detergent, the material gives a nice subtle shine.

Lubes and powders

You can do it the old fashioned way and use any non-scented powder. Liberally cover the inside of your garment, then shake out any excess before pulling it on. If you are having trouble getting a garment on then you are just not using enough powder or lube.

Storage

If you aren't going to wear the garments often, be sure they are dry and stored away from the sun. Better not hanging Zuss Fashion Designs on wire hangers or by the straps, as that can stretch it out of shape.

Tears and repairs

Should a design split, there are two possible repair solutions. You may want to try repairing it yourself, using our rubber laces, or you can send it to a professional here at Zuss Fashion Design for custom repairs.
Tears are not the result of our defect, and are not covered under our warranty. Depending on the complexity of the repair, you may be charged an hourly rate. Shippingcosts will be there.

Returns

Should a design not fit or otherwise make you unhappy you can return it to exchange it for another of equal or lesser value, or you can choose to pay more if you wish to exchange it for a more expensive item or full refund within 7 days after your purchase. In case of a refund; refunds are made in US dollars. Note that due to exchange rate fluctuations you may receive a refund which is less or greater than the amount you originally paid in your own currency.
To return a design, please contact us first. We will ask for your Zuss Tag, when you return a Zuss Design.

Zuss' guarantee

If you discover any defects in workmanship within two months of purchase, we will repair your garment at our expense. Satisfied and beautifully attired customers are the best advertising for our elegantly provocative Zuss Fashion Designs.
However, our guarantee does not cover any damage due to improper handling. We do not take any responsibility for stains and spots in other clothes, caused by wearing our designs with them. We shall have the final judgement in this matter.
To return a design, please contact us first. We will ask for your Zuss Tag, when you return a Zuss Design.

Harmless

Due to the chemicals used at vulcanization processes, there's a minor chance that wearing industrial rubber may cause a harmless allergic reaction to your skin, especially if you have a known allergy to hairdresser's chemicals.
Until now, none of our models or customers had any complaints.
